    What is the seventh commandment?

  2. 2

Why do you think God cares about faithfulness in marriage?

  3. 3

Even though you are young, how does this commandment apply to the way you treat others now?

Illustration

A promise is only as strong as the person who keeps it. Marriage is a covenant, a binding promise between a husband and wife before God. The seventh commandment protects that promise. God made marriage and he guards it because faithfulness matters to him.

Application

Even though marriage is in the future for you, this commandment teaches that God cares about purity and faithfulness in all of life. Ask God to help you be someone who keeps promises and speaks about others with respect.
