Discussion Questions

  1. 1

    How many gods are there?

  2. 2

Why does it matter that there is only one God and not many?

  3. 3

What are some things people today treat as though they were gods?

Illustration

If your class had ten different teachers all giving different rules at the same time, no one would know what to do. There is one God, and he alone gets to say what is true and right. That keeps everything from falling into confusion.

Application

This week, when you feel pulled to care more about a toy, a game, or what friends think than about God, pause and pray. Ask God to help you remember that he alone is God.
