If you had a best friend who spent all their time with someone else and never talked to you, you would know something was wrong. God commands that he alone be our God. Anything we put in his place is an idol, even if it is not a statue.

This commandment shows us that our hearts wander. We all put other things before God. Ask God to reveal what you love more than him, and ask him to change your heart.
