Q102. What do we pray for in the second request?
In the second request—"Your kingdom come"—we pray that Satan’s kingdom would be destroyed, that the kingdom of grace would grow, that we and others would be brought into it and kept in it, and that the kingdom of glory would come soon.

Illustration
When a new school principal takes over, things change. Old rules that were unfair get replaced with good ones. "Your kingdom come" is asking God to take over more and more of the world, replacing darkness with light, sin with righteousness, and sadness with joy, until the day he finishes the job completely.
Application
Because God’s kingdom is growing and will one day come in full, you can pray for it to grow right where you are. Ask God to bring one person you know closer to Jesus this week. Pray by name for a friend, neighbor, or family member who does not yet trust in Christ.
