The work of creation is God making all things out of nothing by the word of his power, in six days, and all very good.

When you build with blocks, the blocks have to already be there. God did not need any blocks. He spoke, and things that did not exist suddenly did. Nothing was there, and then everything was.

Go outside this week and pick one thing God made. Look at it closely for a full minute. Then thank God that he made it out of nothing, just by speaking.
