Illustration

Every morning you wake up and your sinful nature is still there, pulling you toward selfishness, anger, and disobedience. Baptism teaches you to drown that old nature through repentance every day. And every morning, God raises up a new you that wants to follow him. Baptism is not just a one-time event. It shapes every single day.

Application

Start a habit this week. Each morning when you wash your face, remember your baptism. Confess one sin from yesterday and ask God to help you live as the new person he has made you. Because Baptism is daily, repentance is daily too.
