Why does God care about marriage and purity?

What does it look like for a young person to live a "pure and decent life" in what they say?
Illustration
A glass of clean water is good to drink. If someone drops even a small amount of mud into it, the whole glass is ruined. God designed marriage and our bodies for something good and clean. This commandment protects that goodness. Even the words we say and the things we look at can add mud to the water.
Application
Pay attention to the words you use and the shows or videos you watch this week. If something does not fit with living a pure and decent life, turn it off. Ask God to help you guard what goes into your eyes and ears.
