Illustration
A king sits on a throne, and only one person can sit there. If someone else takes that seat, the king has been replaced. God says he alone belongs on the throne of your heart. Anything else you put there, whether it is a game, a friend's opinion, or your own comfort, has taken his place.
Application
This week, pay attention to what you think about first when you wake up and last before you fall asleep. Ask God to help you fear, love, and trust him above that thing.
