Illustration

In old kingdoms, the person who sat at the king's right hand had the highest authority in the land. When we say Jesus sits at God's right hand, we mean he has been given all authority over everything. Nothing is outside his rule.

Application

When the news or the world feels chaotic, remember that Jesus is ruling right now from the highest place. Ask him to help you trust his authority even when things look out of control.
