  1. 1

What does the Second Petition ask for?

  2. 2

    What is God's kingdom?

  3. 3

Where do you see God's kingdom at work in your own life?

Illustration

When a new king takes over a country, things change. New laws go into effect. The old ruler loses power. When God's kingdom comes to a person, the same thing happens on the inside. Sin starts losing its grip. The Holy Spirit begins to rule. God's kingdom is not a place on a map. It is wherever God reigns through his Word and Spirit.

Application

Pray "Your kingdom come" every morning this week. As you pray it, ask God to send his Spirit so that his rule grows stronger in your own heart, in your family, and in your church.
