What does "hallowed" mean, and is God's name already holy?

How can a kid your age keep God's name holy in everyday life?
Illustration
A flag flying over a building tells you who is in charge. When the flag is respected, the authority it represents is honored. When it is torn down or trampled, that authority is mocked. God's name is like that flag. It is already holy. But we pray that it would be honored and kept holy among us too, in our words and in how we live.
Application
This week, watch how God's name is used in the shows you watch and the conversations you hear. When you notice it being misused, pray quietly: "Father, keep your name holy among us." Your words and life can honor his name too.
