Discussion Questions

  1. 1

What does the First Article of the Creed say you believe about God?

  2. 2

What does it mean that God is "almighty" and "Maker of heaven and earth"?

  3. 3

When you look at the world around you, what reminds you that God made it?

Illustration

When you walk through a house, you can tell someone built it. The walls, the roof, the windows all point to a builder, even if you never met him. The entire world points to God the same way. Every tree, every star, every animal tells you that someone made all of this on purpose. And that someone is the Father who calls you his child.

Application

Go outside this week and pick one thing God made. A bird, a cloud, a sunset. Thank him for making it. Because God is your Father and Maker, the world around you is a daily reminder of his care.
