Q15. What kind of mediator and savior do we need?
One who is a true and righteous person, and yet more powerful than all created things — that is, one who is also true God.

Illustration
If your older sibling breaks up a fight between you and another kid, they can do it because they know both of you and they are strong enough to step in. Our mediator has to be a real person like us and also be God himself. Only someone like that can stand between a holy God and sinful people.
Application
This week, when you pray, thank God that he did not send someone too small for the job. Because your Savior is both God and man, you can trust that his rescue is complete.
